Level 2 Chimney Inspection

C.S.I.A. Certified

Are the Fireplace and/or Chimney Safe?

With over 70,000 chimney fires occurring nationally and as per the National Fire Safety Standard (NFPA 211), a Level 2 Chimney Inspection is required for Fireplaces, Heating Systems, Stoves, Etc., for all homes that are being sold and/or transferred. This inspection requires the use of specialized cameras that are inserted into the chimney flue system. The cost of repairing and/or relining a chimney can be extreme. If time is of a concern, this inspection can be conducted at the same time as the home inspection.
