Internal Sewer Scope Inspections

Sewer Scope Certified

With an aging infrastructure, an Internal evaluation of the sewer line is essential to help ensure against hidden defects like roots, separation and/or damaged collapsed areas of the main sewer line. The cost of repair and/or replacement of the sewer line can be extreme. This inspection requires the use of a specialized camera that is inserted into the main sewer line. A video of the scan is provided with the report so that all conditions can be reviewed to determine all servicing, repair and/or replacement options and costs. If time is of a concern, this inspection can be conducted at the same time as the home inspection.

All sewer lines can backup and fail without notice. The actual condition of the Internal Sewer Line that routes wastewater from the building into the sewer system is not visible to a Home Inspector. Although water flow may be functional on the date of your home inspection, hidden defects like roots, excessive debris, damaged areas and/or other concerns may be present.
